February 14th! Whether you’re in a relationship, situationship or single, I have found some great date ideas. These Valentine’s Day Date ideas can be used with your significant other, best friends or anyone you love!

Creating a beautiful object always makes for an amazing date.

One of my favorites is pottery painting! The Bent Brush in Cape Coral offers ceramic painting. Their hours on Valentine’s Day are 10 a.m.- 8 p.m. You choose your own piece and paint away. I love pottery painting and I love the fact that I can take home something I made afterward.

Glass-blowing classes are another fun idea to test your creativity.

Glassblowing provides a completely new creative experience; different from any craft you have done before. You inflate molten glass to create a beautiful sculpture. Glassblowing in the Garden by Conrad Williams provides a beautiful and new experience for you and your loved ones.

Lego building is also an incredibly fun way to spend your holiday.

On Jan. 1, Lego released a new rose bouquet. This beautiful bouquet is $59.99, but they will never die! You can bond with your lover while making it together. There are even smaller and cheaper options at places such as Five Below.

Baking/decorating cookies or taking a cooking class could provide another way to bond.

Kitchen Social in Fort Myers can give you a wonderful learning experience, as well as a meal. This could also be as simple as baking heart-shaped sugar cookies in your dorm or apartment kitchen. You can find Pillsbury Valentine’s cookies at Target, Walmart, or Publix!

Valentine’s dates can also be as simple as a movie and game night.

Some of my favorites are “The Notebook,” “When Harry Met Sally,” “10 Things I Hate About You” and “Crazy, Stupid, Love.” A few great board games can be classics like Chess, Checkers, Mancala, or a new fun one like A Little Wordy.

If you have time on the day or Valentine’s Weekend, a beach day in Bonita Springs could be a

wonderful time!

You can stop by Publix for some beach-day picnic essentials and rent paddle boards or kayaks. If you can only make it for sunset, a takeout dinner with some battery-powered candles would also be very romantic.

Of course, there is the classic romantic fancy dinner.

Put on your best attire and make your reservations ASAP! Everyone loves a nice dinner. Caffe’ da Michele Osteria Italiana has some of the best service and Italian food in the area.

No matter your romantic situation this holiday- or lack thereof – you deserve an enjoyable time this Valentine’s Day! Any of these ideas can make a memorable night.
