Okeechobee festival announces lineup for first Bonnaroo- like festival in Florida

The highly anticipated Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival did not disappoint when it announced the first wave of artists coming to the Sunshine State for the festival’s inaugural year this coming March.
Headliners for the three-day festival include Mumford & Sons and Kendrick Lamar — who also headlined at the 2015 Bonnaroo — as well as Skrillex, Fetty Wap, Future, Miguel, X Ambassadors and more. As of now, Okeechobee is listed as the only U.S. performance for the chart-topping folk band Mumford &

Okeechobee will be held at Sunshine Grove, about two hours away from FGCU. The fest is expected to be Florida’s version of Bonnaroo with on- location camping, various food vendors and many specialized areas, including Yogachobee, Aquachobee and The Lost Jungle.
The festival takes place from March 4 to 6 and will feature more than 80 multi- genre acts on five stages across an 800- acre property, located about 20 minutes north of the city of Okeechobee.
Three-day tier-two general admission passes are currently on sale on okeechobeefest.com.
